The NYSBA’s two group level term life insurance policies guarantee rates for 10 and 20 years, respectively, with a coverage amount that will never decrease while you're insured. For those looking for stability, these policies may be great options.
Benefit Details
- Both level term life insurance policies offer coverage up to $2 million, in increments of $50,000.
- Both level term policies offer an accelerated death benefit option allowing for a one-time payment of 50% of in-force coverage if you are diagnosed as terminally ill.
- NYSBA members under the age of 65 can apply for 10-year level term coverage along with their spouse/domestic partner and dependent children.
- NYSBA members under the age of 55 can apply for the 20-year level term coverage, along with a spouse/domestic partner and dependent children.
